These homemade tortilla bowls are oven-baked so no deep fryer or air fryer needed!

You can use any kind of tortillas that you like. There are so many different kinds! Use corn tortillas or flour tortillas for these Tortilla Bowls. Corn Tortillas are a little stiffer, so they need to be super fresh if you are using them.

Equipment you need to make Homemade Tortilla Bowls:

All you need is a Muffin Tin. We used a larger Muffin Tin, but you can use a smaller regular sized one. If you choose to make smaller bowls, use the smaller tortillas (taco size) If you want more giant bowls, use the larger tortillas (burrito size).

You can fit 3 large tortillas in a 12-hole muffin tin, as shown above.

Once in place, lightly spray your tortillas with olive oil cooking spray. If you want, you can LIGHTLY sprinkle a little taco seasoning or ranch seasoning on the bowls before baking.

Bake in low temp oven 300 for about 15-20 minutesWATCH CAREFULLY so they don’t burn.

Remove from oven and turn off the heat. Place your homemade taco salad bowls on a wire rack to cool. Or you can set aside on a paper towel or plate.

Depending on how many you are making you’ll need to make these in batches. Or use more muffin tins.
