Emmanuel God with Us Printable Bible Verse Banner for Christmas
I love to create Printable Bible Verses for all different occasions! This year Christmas is coming FAST for our family. I created this pretty Emmanuel God with Us Printable Bible Verse Banner for Christmas because I needed something simple and easy. Most of us are familiar with the Emmanuel Scripture, so I wanted to share it with you!
It’s Dec 1 and I have all of my family coming Dec 7 for Christmas! That means 7 kids plus spouses and 10 grandkids…YIKES! I work clear up until the day before, so I’ve got to do simple decorations that have a big impact.
I created this super cute Christmas Banner with a bible verse in a snap, then printed it out and hung it with wired ribbon. So Easy!
I saved my documents in Word and Adobe Acrobat so that you could access and download whatever way is easiest for you. I also stuck to a minimum of colors black and red because I wanted everyone to feel they could afford to print this Cute Free Christmas Printable Banner.

Emmanuel God with Us Printable Bible Verse Banner for Christmas
What does Emmanuel mean?
It means God with Us! Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” A perfect Christmas Bible Verse.
Materials needed:
- 12 pages Cardstock
- 15 ft of Wired Ribbon
- 20 Small Wooden Clothespins

I had a bit of a hard time getting each page to collate together, so the letters are out of order…but they are all there for this project. Also in my picture above I left out an “M” UGG! I had to move all the pieces over. Oh well, this was my first time making a banner so live and learn! There are also a couple of extra snowflakes in case you want more!
Instructions:
After you print, cut around the Red but leave a little white space. I just eyeballed it and it was totally easy….so don’t panic if you feel nervous about not having a line to follow. It doesn’t have to be perfect. And if you really feel like you messed up you can just print another!
Now you can either put all your letters on the wired ribbon THEN hang OR hang the wired ribbon then hang the letters. Whatever is you feel would be easiest for you.
Important Tip for the Emmanuel God with Us Printable Bible Verse Banner for Christmas
This is a very long banner but you do not need to hang it this way. You can also separate the words. Like, put “Emmanuel” first on top then hang another ribbon underneath and hang “God with Us” underneath.
