Easy DIY Fall Decoration Ideas on a Budget

We just love the Fall! We also LOVE Easy DIY Fall Decoration Ideas on a Budget! Easy Crafts and DIY are totally my jam or better yet I love to find super cheap decorations that will look beautiful but not look cheap!

I think Fall is my favorite time of year! My clothing wardrobe also has a lot of Fall colors, so maybe that’s another reason I love it so much! I love the smell, I love the colors, I love the rain (for a very short while), the cool crisp air after a warm day.

I’m not a huge decorator, but I do love to find fun, small, cheap and easy Fall decor ideas for indoor and outdoors. These Fall decor projects are very rustic looking and that’s totally me.

As I was looking around I thought you might like to see some of the things I’m considering making…or something similar.

Oh and it has to be easy too because..I’m not into hard Fall Decor. Since my girls have 4 basketball games this weekend, my Homemade Fall Decorations are going to have to be QUICK!

So when can you start decorating for Fall?

In my opinion, as soon as September hits then Fall Decorations are appropriate. The leaves are just starting to change colors, school is starting for most folks, the weather is getting cooler and Fall gardens are starting to produce those pumpkins!

You might think that it’s hard to find inexpensive ways to decorate for Autumn, but there are SO MANY cute little projects out there around the internet that are cheap!

How can I decorate my house for Fall cheap?

First Print out this FREE fun fall Printable and frame in a cheap little Farmhouse frame!

Start by using your own backyard! Pinecones, trees, nuts and so on! Take a trip to a local park if you live in a condo.
Be sure and check the thrift stores and dollar stores! You can find lots of fun Fall colors for your projects there.
A super easy and cheap way to really make your house POP for Fall is to use Fall Pillow Covers!
There are so many CUTE ones that it’s hard to decide which ones to get! I get some each year! There are TONS of them for CHEAP!

What I love about these Fall Pillow Covers is that they are “almost” DIY… in other words…you still have to put them on your pillows! Pretty easy DIY if you ask me!

How Else Do I Make my House Cozy for Fall?

Besides the Pillow Covers and the Easy Fall Decor Projects on a Budget below, I do one more thing…I bring out the blankets! We love to sit around our family room in the Fall and watch movies, play games and talk talk talk. Gotta have those cozy blankets!

There are TONS of cheap cozy blankets, so try one or two and transform your family or living room into a place where your family loves to gather every evening.

I’m always so amazed at the very talented people that God creates. So fun, so unique, so pretty!

I love this Kale Wreath! In the Fall it should last for quite a long time..not in the sun, but if you have a shady door…pretty!

I love old garden tools and I love this Garden Rake Wreath. Such a simple way to decorate a door.

Ok I’m all about Mason Jars! I come from a preserving family (although I don’t can much anymore)

I love this super cute Mason Jar ring Pumpkin! That is just too creative! It’s perfect for Fall Decorating!

We have a million pinecones around our house. So I love these Mason Jar Pine Cone Flowers. Very creative!

Washington is one of the leading states for apples. So you know I’m going to love these Apple Candles. I’ve seen them before..but I think I’m going to try it this year.

I’m not really sure that I have the time or the patience for these cutey little Painted Acorns, but they were just so cute that I thought maybe you might like to see them!

Ok this is such an easy homemade Fall decoration…White Pumpkins with beautiful branches and berries.. I Love it!

I do love all of the corn stalks and hay bales and stuff like that, but my husband isn’t so keen on the mess..so I pass on that sort of thing..but I do admire looking at it!
