Easy Roast Pork Sandwich with Barbeque Sauce

This recipe is very versatile as you can use either a Pork Loin or Boneless Pork Ribs…the thick kind. You can also add any kind of BBQ Sauce you like. This is a super easy kid friendly recipe that results in a delicious Roasted Pork Sandwich.

Also, Pork is a very cheap meat to serve. If you are on a tight budget, you’ll love the price tag and taste of this Roasted Pork Sandwich! If you find it on sale be sure and grab up some pork loin roast for pulled pork sandwiches for a quick meal!

Ingredients:

  • Pork Loin or Boneless Pork Ribs
  • Barbeque Sauce
  • Mustard – Dijon or regular or both!
  • Sweet Onion slices
  • Optional – Cheese

Instructions:

Spray your roasting pan with a non-stick cooking spray…We like Virgin Olive Oil cooking spray but use what you like. Add your Pork into your roasting pan.  I used 3 boneless Pork Ribs that I had in the freezer...they were semi-frozen and perfect for making a Roasted Pork Sandwich.

Pour as much Barbeque Sauce on as you like, I used about a cup.

Now add your mustard and spread around on your Pork.  Don’t add too much mustard unless you really like it! Also, if you don’t like mustard…this still makes a delicious meal!

Now top with Sweet Onions..as much as you like.  Sweet Onions are not overpowering so you can add quite a bit and still not have a real oniony taste.

Cover and bake for about 2 hours at 375 degrees..this will get your meat nice and tender.

Then just pull apart with fork to make shredded pork. Serve on buns or any kind of bread!   Add cheese if you like!  Add some Homemade Steak Fries and a Salad and there you have it, a delightful Roasted Pork Sandwich meal!

It’s deelish and Oh so easy..my kind of meal!

You can also double up this recipe and freeze the leftovers for another meal another time!! Yay!!

By the way…you can totally make this in a Crockpot.  I usually do but I forgot to get it ready early enough for dinner so I just did the fast version and roasted in the oven to make a quick Roasted Pork Sandwich.

If you want to cook in a Crockpot simply do all of the above directions and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

I find that I need to add just a little bit more Barbeque Sauce if I cook for 8 hours…just so that it doesn’t dry out and burn.

Enjoy and be blessed today!!
