Midlife Mom – My Tubal Reversal

Let me further introduce myself.  Hmm..where to start.  For starters I can tell you that we are a blended family.  When my husband and I got married,  24 years ago,   he had two children and I had two children.  Ages 9,  10,  11,  12.

Well when our older children were almost all grown and out of the house (all except one) my husband began to suggest that we have children together.  WHAT!  I thought he was kidding.   But after he mentioned it several times I began to realize that he was serious.

So I began to pray about it.  I really felt that God did not want me to keep this area from my husband.  I thought God was kidding too!    But I knew in my heart what God was asking of me.

I was pretty young,  36,  So with much more prayer  I gave in to God and my Husband.   And as Martha Stewart would say “It’s a Good Thing”

One problem,  my tubes were tied.  They had been tied for SIXTEEN years.  Miraculously God provided the finances for this to happen.  So I had a tubal reversal and what do you know 2 months later I was pregnant with Noah….then Anna…then Sarah.

So now at 52 I am a blessed Midlife Mom to Many.  Joey is 35,  Michelle is 34,  Marcy is 33,  Chrystal is 32.  Noah is now 15,  Anna  13 and Sarah 10.
