One of the things that make life a little sweeter is taking a yummy frozen dessert like Marie Callender’s Cream Pies (which tastes like homemade) and turning it into something extra special.

Using these super easy Easter Pie Decorations I’m able to serve up deliciousness while keeping my life simple.  Yay! I need that right now and I bet you do too!

With these simple instructions and extras added to Marie Callender’s Banana Cream Pie and Mini Coconut Cream Pie you can create a festive Easter dessert too!

Here is what I used, however the sky is the limit when it comes to decorating your pie with all of the Easter decorations and goodies you can find!

  • Pick your Marie Callender’s Cream Pie ~ There are some deelish options w/ special touches that include made-from-scratch lattice crust and hand-placed chocolate curls.
  • Jelly Beans ~ Any kind
  • Candy Carrots
  • Peeps..bunnies or chicks…or both!
  • Shredded Coconut for Grass
  • Green food coloring for Grass
  • Pretzels for carrot garden fence.
  • 1 Chocolate Wafer of any kind for rabbit hole

First make your green grass by simply putting about 1 cup of Shredded Coconut (not flaked coconut) shredded looks more like grass.  Add as much green food coloring as you want.  Start light and add a little at a time until you have the color you want.

This next step is optional, but I’ve found it makes for a little better platform to scrape off the top layer of creamy topping.

Sprinkle your “grass” all over the top of the pie.

Then let the decorating begin!  I simply laid the cookie wafer “rabbit hole” down, and put 2 little bunnies by it.  For the garden I used the BIG twisted pretzels and broke a curved piece for the fence.  Then I simply pushed the carrots into the “ground” and added a couple of jelly beans…well just because you NEED jelly beans!

Marie Callender’s also has these super cute and convenient single serving pies that come in a variety of flavors.  You can do so many things with them. I especially love that they are single serving and use high-quality ingredients and signature special touches to create desserts that smell, taste and look just like homemade so that families can slow down and savor them together.

I simply added grass and jelly beans to make a cute little single serving nest.  Then I popped the little pie into a dessert dish for a little dress up.

There you have it!  Super easy Easter pie decorations, that literally anyone get do.  I LOVE to enjoy my family when they are over, but then I like to create something special for them too.  This little idea makes it easy to spend time with my family and NOT get stressed out about dessert.

One more PLUS…you can easily do this the night before.  Use the cover that comes with the pies and put them back into the fridge after decorating until the next day.
