Yummy 5 Ingredient Crockpot Orange Chicken
Whether you call it a Crock Pot, Crockpot or Slow Cooker (they’re all the same) you’ll want to take a look at some of my favorite Kitchen Tools that I used for this easy Chinese food recipe!
Favorite Kitchen Tools and Gadgets used in this recipe:
Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners 2 Pack (8 Liners
<<<If you want to make clean up REALLY EASY these crockpot liners are one of my all time favorite items to use! Honestly…just throw away when done! YAY!
Crockpot ~ I love my crockpot, as a matter of fact I’m going to step up my game and be buying a new one soon. You can cook so many things in it, from main dishes, desserts, breakfast, soups…anything!
Mixing Bowl with no slip bottom ~ There is nothing like using a mixing bowl with a rubber bottom! No slipping and sliding on the counter and if it has a handle and a pouring spout…that’s even better!
Silicone Whisk ~ These are my all time faves as I can use them in hot or cold recipes for whipping things up quick.
In this crockpot orange chicken recipe the Ginger and Garlic are optional. For the picky eaters in your life that don’t like a lot of things, the Ginger and Garlic are very mild in this recipe if you do decide to add it. We’ve found that the whole family LOVES this recipe.
Tips & Tricks 5 Ingredient Crockpot Orange Chicken
- Use the Crockpot liners or at the very least spray your slow cooker with cooking spray for super easy clean up!
- You CAN substitute Brown Sugar for honey of you would like.
- You can ALSO substitute Orange Marmalade for Orange Juice. This is also deelish but much sweeter.
- For fluffy rice, turn off your stove top when there is still a tiny bit of water in the bottom of the pan. Leave lid on. By the time it is time to serve with your Orange Chicken it will be nice and fluffy!

This looks really yummy. I love that it uses orange juice instead of orange marmalade. Nothing special to buy! Pinning for later. #Titus2Tuesday
