For those of you that don’t know..I’m a bit fanatical about using what you have on hand and using up what you have before spending money to buy more food. I like to create fun Snack Food Recipes to save money. I was cleaning out my fridge and freezer and saw that I had this package of Sausage and Biscuits. I just had to use them up, so I created this Sausage and Biscuits on a Stick Recipe! I can’t help it…it’s an obsession! LOL
My fam won’t just eat plain ol food…I sort of have to coax them a little to eat these wonderful finds in my fridge and freezer… So I created these easy
Cook in pre heated 400 degree oven for 15 min or until golden brown. I always use my Silicone Mats on my baking sheets for super easy clean up…simply wipe off and boom..cleaning done!
If you are worried about the Sausage being done heated through … cut one open and check..because your going to cut these anyway.
Now Cut up and place on Skewers alternating apples with the Sausage and Biscuits
Now if you don’t want to cut up..you can also serve whole on a Stick! OR if you don’t want to do that…you can skip the stick all together!
You can freeze the leftover for a quick morning or afternoon snack.
The turned out deelish…especially dipped in the Syrup! YUM!!
Was that easy or what..it only took minutes to create, not including cooking time of course..But used up some simple ingredients that I needed to clear out.
What do you do with your refrigerator finds? Do you throw them out, ignore them till they go bad…or create something wonderful?
By the way…no worries if you do any of those things…I have too!
