Pumpkin Spice Frappe in Honor of My Friends and Fellowship
This is the first year in many years that I am not able to attend a Bible Study. Or even just leave the house and take a break and have lunch or coffee with friends. I MISS that!  I created this Pumpkin Spice Frappe coffee drink to honor my friends and make time for fellowship!
The past 4 months have brought about a lot of different changes around my house this year. I started watching my newborn Grandson who is now 7 months old and crawling :O …I started taking my 4 year old Grandson to Pre School 2 times a week this Fall… That’s dropping off and picking up…waking the baby up in the process from nappies.
The little boy I do childcare for now comes 4 and 5 days a week instead of 3.. ( I don’t even know how that crept up there) Along with all the busyness that a household full of teens and their friends and sports brings…AND trying to find time to put my marriage at the forefront of it all!Â
Sooo I decided…Hey why not have my friends over here for some coffee and fellowship.  I get into my perfectionism and then I think my house isn’t clean enough or my food won’t taste good or any number of silly things I want to tell myself. It’s all an excuse! LOL If there is one thing that I have learned is this:
- Nobody cares if my house is clean
- My friends come to see me and not my house
- My food almost always tastes good because I poor love into it
- and…My friends feel special when they are invited
Yep…so that means..no excuses just do it!Â
This is the time of year for tons of Pumpkin recipes and one of the things I’ve come to enjoy and look forward to are the YUMMY coffee creamer flavors from NestlĂ© Coffee-mate that they put out each Fall… Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha too! These flavors can turn ordinary coffee into a dream!Â
So here’s to my friends a super simple recipe to bless your friends and I can’t wait for you to try it!
Pumpkin Spice Frappe
Ingredients:
- Nestlé Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
- Instant Coffee (I used Nescafe)
- Redi Whip Whipped Cream
- ice cubes
- Blender
Directions:
Follow directions for making Coffee. Make as many cups as you will be serving. Test to see how strong you want coffee. Let it cool down and then pour over ice cubes. How many ice cubes will depend on how thick you want your Frappe to be. Start with less cubes and add if you want it thicker. Add 1/4 cup of NestlĂ© Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer for each cup of coffee you will be making.Â
Add more if you want it sweeter…or less if you don’t 🙂 Now blend in your blender until smooth.Â
Pour into some cute mugs (I love the clear so I can see the coffee ingredients)Â
Anchor Hocking 16-Ounce Café Mug Beverage
&
&
Add some cute straws …because we need cute straws!
Autumn Fall Party Straws, Orange &
&
Top with whipping cream and sprinkles…or with anything you want to make it tasty and pretty!
This makes a great after meal dessert! This is really all a Frappe is…ice, cream, coffee and flavoring blended together. So this is the EASIEST Frappe ever! YUM! You could also make the Nestlé Coffee-mate Peppermint Mocha..another YUM!!
So if you are sort of lonely like me and you want to invite friends over for a very special time of fellowship…make this quick and easy Frappe with love and have some fun!
