Organizing my Pantry

I’ve really been meaning to organize my pantry for a while,  but yesterday my 10 year old says  “Mom,  this closet is out of control!  I can’t even find the snacks I want!”  That does it!  Today is the day!

We moved this last year and in the interim between houses we stayed with some friends for a couple of months.   After we finally got settled into our new home my Stepdaughter and our Granddaughter came to live with us for a while.  So I shared my pantry with her.  Ever since she moved out…well I’ve just been… discombobulated.  I just haven’t gotten re-organized.

BEFORE pics.  What a mess huh!

It seems like alot of work,  but I’ve found that if I just set a timer for ten minutes and work as fast I can,  that it really doesn’t take me much time at all.  I might have to reset it a few times BUT it’s much less overwhelming to break a job down into pieces for me.  Jobs like this are way more overwhelming in my head than they really are:)

Ok so here are my AFTER pics…

Wow look at all that empty space.  Time to go shopping:)  So do you think my family was happy about this little organization project?  Nope.  Now they say they can’t find anything:0
