Don’t Worry
Out my bedroom window today
As I spend time with my Lord and pray
I look up to see the trees so green
So tall in all their majesty
And in between each giant branch
The tiny leaves begin to dance..
There are birds of every different kind
Flitting here and there
Looking for that winter food
That God provides each year
I don’t know how they do it
When the weather is so cold
But God has made a promise
For I am surely told..
If God takes care of birds each day
He’ll surely care for me,
I’ll not worry when the hard times come
I’ll not have anxiety…
But rest in God’s great love for me
and His love for birds that fly so free
For I am valuable in His sight
Even more than birds that take there flight
So rest with me and have great peace
For He cares for you and He cares for me.

Beautiful reminder! I was just thinking about that passage this week too.
Those birds were such a great reminder to me of God’s great love and care for us..and this funny poem just popped out!
