I think Father’s Day is under rated…Maybe we don’t think Dad really cares or sometimes it’s hard to honor our Fathers on this special day because of past hurts, but God’s word says we are to honor our Father and our Mothers. Even if it’s hard…teach your children how to honor their Father.

We used to have this book and it was a fun favorite for my kids, they used to LOVE Dad to read it to them.

It’s hard to buy for my Dad, he is in a nursing home and don’t have much room at all, and he just sits in his chair and sleeps most of the time. So it’s usually clothes. I get tired of buying clothes for him 🙁 Great post Shari! 🙂
