Gardening in the Pacific NorthWest
Woo Hoo! It’s sunny and 60 degrees here today in the great Pacific North West! Unbelievable weather for this time of year..so off I go..I just can’t help it..I have to get out in my garden!.. Even after having 6 little 11 year olds overnight last night!
See that sunshine..AAaaahhh vitamin D!
I was too lazy..oh wait a minute, not too lazy, too busy..I mean..to get out in my garden in the Fall and do any pruning. I should have taken a before and after picture..because it was really horrible looking. This only took me one hour + I did some weeding around a beautiful pink dogwood we have also…
See those cute little crocuses >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They were trying to peep there heads out from under all those weeds and overgrowth. I could almost see them grow before my eyes as the sunshine hit them! Oh I can’t wait to see all of there splendor in a couple of weeks..can you tell I love gardening and flowers! LOL Especially the first few of the season!
<<<<<<<<<Right next to those cute little crocuses were some VERY overgrown Iris’s. When the weather is warmer and there blooming season is over I need to dig these up and separate them. Poor little things!
Wish I could do it now but gardening in the Pacific North West can be tricky because one day it can be 60 and sunny and the next 30 degrees and snowing!
Well that’s it for today..I’ll come back and show you how things are doing as they bloom.
What’s growing in your Garden at this time of year?
What a lovely back yard! It looks like a taste of paradise! I am sure there is lots of hard work, dedication, and love that was put into it.

Hi Michelle! It does take some work but it’s pretty low maintainence 🙂 This year though I will put a little veggie garden in one my flower beds 🙂 That will be fun! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Blessings!
We have daffodils and our red bud trees are budding. No leaves yet, but they’re on their way. I hope we don’t end up getting a winter because they might freeze off. 🙁
I hope you don’t get a winter either! I’m sad when the flowers finally come out after a long winter and then it snows 🙁 Maybe it won’t though. Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings Karen!
I love California weather. We went out and enjoyed the sun and hit some golf balls. What flowers are those?
AAwww you lucky pupster!! I can’t even imagine having nice weather almost daily.. as I get older I almost crave that sunshine even more. Those are Crocuses and Irises 😀 Trying so hard to pop out in what little sunshine we have 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Sonia!
Blessings to you!
