Homemade Red Velvet Chip Cookies
School is out! YAHOOO! That means that I get to have the whole Summer off and be with my kids…um sometimes! Having teens means grabbing each special moment I can get. My girls like to go to “schools out” parties at their friends houses the night that school actually ends, BUT before they steal away from me, I bribe them with some yummy Homemade Red Velvet Chip Cookies or these super easy Strawberry Lemon Cake Mix Cookies!
It’s the old cookies and milk after school treat that can’t be resisted and calls their name.

One of the things I’ve noticed is that more and more people are becoming less and less tolerant of dairy. It’s sad because who doesn’t want to have cookies and milk?! Our whole family has varying degrees of dairy intolerance. We have to be careful otherwise we will all end up with a tummy ache. We all have to be careful about how much milk we consume, so I was super happy to try a2 Milk®!
a2 Milk® contains only the A2 protein, so it’s the original milk, just like nature intended. The A1 protein is the culprit behind many people’s discomfort after consuming dairy, and is currently in all conventional & organic milks on the U.S. market. a2 Milk® only comes from specially selected a2 cows, whose milk is naturally free of the A1 protein.
You don’t have to cut milk out of your diet all together or switch to some of the nut or bean milks, when a2 Milk® is available!
After drinking it for a few days and LOVING the taste, our tummies have been trouble free!
I’m going to share my simple…
