CROCKPOT SALISBURY STEAK WITH FROZEN HAMBURGER PATTIES
This easy Crockpot Salisbury steak is made with frozen hamburger patties, four simple ingredients and only five minutes of prep. The patties slow cook in a rich, creamy gravy for a budget-friendly family dinner that’s delicious over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
1Can Cream of Mushroom Soup or Cream of Chicken Soup, your preference of cream soups
1EnvelopeDry Gravy Mix
2cupsMilk
4Lean Frozen Hamburger Patties
Instructions
Spray your crockpot with cooking spray or if you prefer you can use crockpot liners. Let’s keep things easy to clean!
Then add frozen burgers
Mix together Cream of Mushroom or Chicken Soup, Milk and Envelope of Dry Gravy Mix.
After mixing, pour over your frozen hamburger patties.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours. Check the thickest patty with a meat thermometer before serving; the center should reach 160°F.
You can cook longer on low, if you are going to be gone all day, it won’t hurt anything!
Notes
For the best results, use lean frozen hamburger patties to keep excess grease out of the gravy. If you use a frozen burger with a higher fat content...that's ok! Just skim any excess fat off the top.Serve over Rice, Noodles or Potatoes
