Anthony’s Homeport – This is really one of those places that has it all! Fantastic food, Great Scenery, Romantic Ambiance and not bad prices…Lunch and Dinners ranging from $9.75-$23.00 Anthony’s specialty’s are Seafood..but ALL of the food is deelish!  After dinner or lunch you can go for stroll on the boardwalk and walk off you meal and watch all of the boats coming in and out of the harbor!  There are Anthony’s Homeports on the waterfront in Seattle, Edmonds and Everett!

Dahlia Lounge – Beautifully elegant and deeeelish.  With world renowned chef and owner Tom Douglas.  Also reasonably priced for lunch starting at about $8 for appetizers on up to about $20.  Dinner is a little more pricey but well worth the unique foods and flavors.  From Smoked Salmon to Washington Beef Tenderloin Steak…oh and my daughter says Pies and Biscuits to die for!! It’s a treat you don’t want to miss! Tom capitalizes on the fresh, local food here in the Pacific Northwest and owns several other restaurants too!  MMmmm  You will love it!  Located in beautiful downtown Seattle!

Wild Ginger – YUM!! An amazing restaurant located in downtown Seattle..specializing in Asian food and Satay bar.  Very elegant with very attentive waiters and waitress’s.  Ready to meet all of your needs and help you decide what to eat!  AND they also serve gluten free!  It REALLY is gluten free!  Honestly they have very fresh and authentic Asian foods.  Family style service, like in classic Asian restaurants, creates an enriching experience where guests share a range of tastes together.  A little bit pricey but very worth it!  Starting at about $13 on up.  They also have a wonderful Vegan menu.

Ivar’s – I’m going to focus on the Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union..because this is another beautiful location in the Seattle area!  Ivar’s sits right on the beautiful Lake Union which sits in the center of Seattle right next to the famous Space Needle!  A fun area to play before and after you eat!  Ivar’s is a great family friendly restaurant as well.  Eat some of the Pacific Northwest’s best Seafood while watching all of the awesome sailboats on the lake….it’s beautiful.  They serve a variety of foods too..not just Seafood.   Prices range from about $11 on up to $24

Dick’s Drive In – No visit to Seattle is complete without going to our famous Dick’s Drive In!  Only 5 locations in the Seattle area and one North of Seattle now…due to a HUGE demand and begging the owners! LOL  Dick’s is celebrating it’s 60th birthday this year and they have burgers to die for!!  I’m not kidding!  Hand dipped shakes, excellent fresh beef…with special sauce and french fries made with real potatoes! YUM Drive on up..walk up to the window,  place your order and have it within minutes…well that is if there isn’t a huge line because they are soooo deelish! But really it is very quick.  You will eat in your car or take it home..except at the Dicks located next to the Space Needle.  They are the only location with seating.  My hubs has been eating there since he was a boy…Umm he’s 61 now!  They are that good! Prices HA can’t beat em… $2 – $3 for the best burgers in town!!

Golden CorralWell this is one of our new family favorites because it is so inexpensive for ALL of us to eat…um and eat as much as we want.  Gluttony at it’s best..HA.  This is one of those all you can eat Buffett restaurants.  What is a little different about this one is that it has some fun things like Cotton Candy, a Chocolate Fountain with lots of things to dip into it…and tons of other desserts that kids and teens love.  They also serve lots of great main and side dishes!  So for a casual but filling treat for the kids and umm you too..check them out!  Golden Corral is only located in Marysville WA …but hey for you locals..I think you’ll love it!  They are also located across the country.

Skillet Diner – This restaurant is highly recommended by my daughter and her husband..restaurant connoisseurs  LOL  It is located in the famous Capital Hill area..which is a treat in itself to adventure around if you have time!  Skillet Diner, according to my daughter, serves THE very best breakfasts you’ll ever have!  AND they have an 8 oz. Burger bar that is to die for!!  Prices look very reasonable..starting at about $9 – $15 for lunch and dinner.  Skillet Diner recently opened in the Ballard area and they also sell Street Food around the Seattle area!  YUM!  A family friendly atmosphere Skillet Diner boasts:

“We’re a neighborhood joint doing our best to make the place feel relaxed, service attentive and easy; the food approachable yet focused. We use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and continually redefine the meaning of comfort. The style of food is similar to what we’re known for on the airstream …the difference? we have so much more room! Items range from our maple braised pork belly and waffle with a fried egg on top, to our burger with bacon jam, arugula, bleu/brie on brioche with beautiful hand cut fries, to our southern fried chicken and legendary kale Caesar salad.”

The Dish – Another recommendation from my daughter!  She get’s around and gave me TONS of places…but I made her zero in on her very faves..so this is one of them.  This restaurant was also voted the Best Breakfast in Seattle by the Seattle Weekly!  YUM! Located in the heart of the Ballard area of Seattle, it is worth seeking out..and easy too!  Prices range from $7 – $10 …FANTASTIC value!

Quoted from The Dish’s website “Known as a "breakfast institution," The Dish Cafe has served simple, wholesome food for breakfast and lunch for over 10 years. As a family-owned business, we rely on local vendors, fresh ingredients, good homemade food and a love for cooking to keep our diners happy. The Dish Cafe is located in North Seattle between Ballard and Fremont.”
