Isn’t that little guy cute! I give Kids Email a thumbs up too and here’s why:
Calling all Moms, Dads and Grandparents! Are you worried about keeping your children/grandchildren safe with all of the social media becoming the increasingly popular way for kids of all ages to communicate and stay in touch with other kids and family? I am of the belief that we cannot stop technology, BUT we CAN keep our children SAFE. We just need the proper tools and knowledge to do it.
Well I have GREAT NEWS for you! I recently had the opportunity to try Kids Email! Kids Email is an email service for the whole family. It allows kids to have there own email account and yet let’s parents have full control over what gets through to them. Here are just a few of the awesome features they offer:
- Allow child to only receive email from those in their contact list
- Email a copy of incoming messages to the parent
- Remove images within emails
- Remove links within emails
- Allow a parent to approve or deny any email sent to your children via the mail queue
- Only allow children to send email to those in their contact list
- Email a copy of outgoing messages to the parent
- Filter out offensive words found in incoming emails
- Spam filtering
Another thing that is so neat is that it’s VERY kid user friendly…very easy to use! Cute templates for younger boys and girls..and cool templates for older boys and girls.
I’m afraid my kids have already gotten into Facebook and texting, so they were not really interested in Kids Email. However if Kids Email had been around a few years ago, they would have loved it and I would definitely have gotten it for them.
I was also very impressed with the newsletter that Kids Email regularly puts out. It was very informative and relevant to social media issues with kids, plus lots of other great tools for staying informed of things we parents/grandparents need to stay on top of.
Don’t throw up your hands and just give up on social media! Stay informed, take action and consider using a company like Kids Email.
Disclaimer: The product Kids Email was provided to me for one month to try out. I was compensated for my review, but all opinions are 100% mine 🙂
