Are you ready?  I’m never ready…ready for the day that my kids want there own lives, to do things their own way.  Oh, with 7 kids I’ve learned that they belong to the Lord…that sooner or later they must find there own faith, make their own decisions, make their own mistakes.   However as a Mom…it’s just not part of the growing process that I like..I don’t think any parent does..

As I watched the trailer for this movie I began to instantly cry…ALL kids go through a growing phase,  an independent phase.  Whether we like it or not.  It’s God’s way…His way of bringing them close to himself.  You see our children must have their OWN relationship with God.  We cannot play god for them.  Although many times we try.

I’m sooo excited to watch this movie when it debuts..but I am more excited for my kids to watch it.  I truly am not bragging but God has given my kids many gifts and talents.  Gifts and talents that I continually tell them “God has given you a huge responsibility you must use your gifts and talents wisely…for HIS glory”  Yet I see pride and independence come and go…as it would with all of us.

This is most definitely a movie that my kids would watch, enjoy and learn from… A movie that will show that even when children are brought up in Godly homes…their will come a day when they must choose whether or not to make Jesus Lord of ALL.  As much as we as parents think this should be an easy choice for them..look around,  there are many, many distractions and temptations.

Ok was that depressing or what?! LOL God is good and He is in control..so we can relax and enjoy our children 🙂  For real..the other little thing I’ve learned along the way! LOL
