“ Let’s just pretend that Candy Covered Fruit Pops are healthy” is what one of my kids said as we were making these. It was a spur of the moment and turned out yummy..but I didn’t prepare what so ever for taking good pictures and just clicked a few quick clicks. So my apologies. I was having too much fun with the kids. Don’t turn me into the photography police ok… 🙂 These turned out really good and were so easy. A totally fun idea to do with kids or grandkids.

Candy Covered Fruit Pops
Ingredients:
- Package of CandiQuik (or any kind of candy melts)
- Lollipop Sticks
- Any kind of Fruit you want! We used Pineapple this time
- Any kind of toppings. Chopped Chocolate, Sprinkles, Coconut, Nuts, Crushed Cookies, Crushed Graham Crackers, Candies… anything your heart desires 🙂
Directions:
First prepare your fruit and toppings Now follow directions on CandiQuik package…in other words..microwave. I love CandiQuik because it has it’s own little tray you can microwave in and you can use it over and over!
Now dip your fruit into CandiQuik
Then dip into what ever toppings that you want! Hey guess what!? If you don’t have toppings..don’t put anything on top! It’s OK! 🙂
Lay aside on a piece of wax paper, foil, parchment paper until candy coating hardens…only takes about 5 minutes!
Now eat and pretend it’s healthy…just this once. That’s what I always tell my kids…Just this once 🙂
Have fun with your kids…just once..ok 😉
Enjoy!!
