Hey friends! Hope that your Summer is going well so far. Today I want to introduce you to 10 fabulous frugal blogs to follow…besides me of course.
I’ve lived a pretty frugal life…well most of my life! I didn’t grow up with much money as my Mom and Dad divorced when I was young and they struggled to make ends meet. Then I was married very, very young and had babies…struggled.
I had a short period of time after that when we were doing pretty well financially…but my addiction (drug and alcohol) ruined that. Life fell apart and I became a single mom and we barely made ends meet again.
Where am I now? Happily Married for 27 years with lots of kids and much older and still living the frugal life. HA! Oh and I’ve been clean and sober for 30 years…so that didn’t happen just yesterday. LOL
The thing about living the frugal life is learning how to be content and living within our means but still having more blessings than we can count. God is amazing. Living a frugal life builds faith and it builds character…and we don’t really like that sometimes.
There are a TON of Frugal Living Blogs on the internet BUT I wanted to share with you what I think are 10 Fabulous Frugal Blogs to Follow. These range from coupon sites to just plain common sense, but each one is unique and always has great ideas for frugally living.
Money Saving Mom ~ is one of my all time favorite frugal and financial blogs. I have been reading her blog long before I ever started blogging, as a matter of fact she is one of the reasons that I started blogging! With her sweet personality and encouragement I believed I could do it too! Now look at me. I’m totally blessed by Crystal Paine because she genuinely cares about her readers.
A Life in Balance ~ If you want some truly creative ideas for doing fun but frugal things Barb always has great ideas! She is so creative with her 4 boys and 1 princess. I’m always happy to open up her email because it never ceases to amaze me the things she thinks up, like for instance “Let’s Do Backyard Camping” From recipes to great ideas…I think you’ll love her easy going and honest, straightforward approach to living.
Frugal Living Mom ~ Another great site for living beneath our means. Simple living, simple ideas for generating a little income, just plain great but creative and simple ideas.

Thrifty Northwest Moms ~ I have been a follower of Jen and Sia’s blog for a looong time and although it says “Northwest” it is not just “Northwest”. Filled with tons of savings almost daily, you will find a variety of sales and tips that will save you money every single day. One of the weekly posts I like best are the discounts they publish for eating out, showing all of the restaurants and their discounts! Score! They are super in tune with all of the Amazon sales and more!
Sarah Titus ~ Sarah is a successful single Mom that blogs all things frugal. Lots of great ideas and ways to live a frugal life. She believes that every mom has an option to stay home if she chooses with some hard work and frugal living.
Creative Savings ~ Just as the name implies, lots of creative ways to save money, pay off debt and live joyfully!
Happy Money Saver ~ Weeell I like the Happy Money Saver because she’s happy and a money saver!
Money Wise Moms ~ Gina is serious about frugal living, paying off over $87,000 in debt since 2011! Great tips and resources!!
