Easter is almost here!! Can you believe it!? Every year is different around our house, because of so much extended families, blended families, In-Law families…well you get the picture..Sometimes we have fun Easter Meals at our house with Easter Egg hunts and the works..and sometimes..we are treated to going somewhere else. But no matter what we do..there is always deeelicious food!
This year I am making the appetizers for our Easter dinner and I have got some Yummy Recipes that I would love to share with you so that you could make them for your own family to enjoy! I am partnering with Ecce Panis Gourmet Artisan Breads to bring you a unique and easy way to serve up a nice appetizer that won’t break your budget or take too much time! Enjoy!
We are a carb lovin family..so anything with bread is a hit! So when I pared up my deelish Orange Butter with Ecce Panis European Baguette it was a hit!
- Ecce Panis European Baguette
- 1 pkg 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese (at room temp)
- 1 cube of Butter (at room temp)
- 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
- Juice of one Orange (about 4 oz. from a Large Orange) You can also use 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. of Orange Zest ( this is Orange peel that is grated either with a grater or a zester)
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
- Sugar and Cinnamon to sprinkle on Bread (optional)
- Orange Slice Candy (optional)
Slice Baguette into 1/2 inch slices
Place on a cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray
Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar
Put slices into oven at 275 for about 20 min..longer or shorter depending on how crunchy you want your bread. Remove from oven and cool.
Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and then add fresh squeezed juice from a Large Orange. Or use 1/2 cup orange juice.
Add Orange Zest and mix thoroughly!
That’s it..spread on crunchy bread and add cut up pieces of Orange Candy! This is really Yummy! You don’t have to toast bread if you prefer a softer bread. No matter how you serve the Ecce European Baguette.. It’s deeelicious!
I had a lot of yummy fun thinking of all the ways that I could use these Baguettes..as a matter of fact I couldn’t decide which one to make soooo I will share another one in a couple of days…so be sure to check back!
