Imagine! A.C.T.S. with Adventures in Odyssey! Giveaway and Lots of Free Stuff!

I don’t know about your household..but when my kids were younger they would play the most fascinating imagination games!  I mean they would get so engrossed in their play and characters, that I could not get them to snap out of it at the dinner table for anything…they would go on and on and my husband and I would think..how do they think of these things!

Many a night as the sun went down and it was time to say goodnight…I’m not really sure who I put to bed..because my children would be so into their characters!  It was a fun time..a time to IMAGINE! ACTS with Adventures in Odyssey

Imagination is a great way to get kids to think about there  A.C.T.S. – A Call To Serve!

We did a lot of acting out stories when my kids were younger…wouldn’t it be awesome to have the kids act out how they see someone in need…how they could pray for that need…how they could meet that need?

You would be so surprised by just how much your children are willing to serve..

Sometimes I think it is us parents that are so busy that we find it hard to take time to meet needs…to serve others.  Let’s help our kids to be servants for the King!

As you may remember, my teens and I recently did a simple service project for our local Women and Children Shelter..giving toiletries to the homeless children.

My littles enjoy making up bags of food, water, snacks, hand drawn pictures, and such for people in need (usually on the side of the road with a sign). I’m always amazed at their hearts – they want to pack up so much more than what I envision – truly a blessing to learn from them. This summer I would like to continue to grow our hearts in this area and see how much we can stretch ourselves.
