Book Review – Bible Stories for Preschoolers

My very first Book Review!!  So here it goes…

First of all I have to say I LOVE IT!! Over the years we have owned many Preschool Bible story books and I must say that this is one of the best I’ve seen and used.  From the beginning to the end you can tell that the authors Monika Kustra  and illustrator Andrzej Chalecki have a heart for Preschoolers AND there families.  With 21 Old Testament Stories and 28 New Testament Stories young children will be equipped to understand and know the word of God.  All of the Stories and Illustrations are totally engaging,    just right for the preschooler.

After reading many of the stories I have found that they are all very true to scripture.  I have now used this book with my Grandson and also with my Preschool Sunday School class.  They loved it!  At the end of each story there are three short things you can do with you preschooler:

Family Time:

Talk:   Simple questions to think about,  ponder about and talk about  (you know how preschoolers love to talk:)

Do:   A very simple hands on activity that helps to review the Bible story. (very simple,  easily using things from around the household)

Remember:  A very short preschool size scripture to memorize

Some of the other reasons I give a thumbs up on Bible Stories for Preschoolers is that the type/font is big enough for children that are just learning to read.  A first or second grader could easily read this book and enjoy it very much.  One of the things I love the very best is that at the back of the book there is an invitation to Salvation.  Yes, Preschoolers can ask Jesus into there hearts.  Love that the authors didn’t forget this.  This book is packed with more than Bible Stories and in my opinion is well worth the investment!

Thank you to Tyndale House for providing me with a complimentary copy of Bible Stories for Preschoolers for review.   All opinions in this review are my own!

Even though they’re adults now, I still have great memories of reading to my kids from their children’s Bibles. I actually still have the children’s Bibles – couldn’t bear to part with them. But I’m ready for grandkids! It’s great that the Bible Stories for Preschoolers has hands-on activities! Thanks for the review! :)
