Well this month the theme is Grow in your walk with God every day!  To celebrate, Tyndale House and Adventures in Odyssey are giving away this awesome 90 Devotions for Kids soft cover devotional!

Fall is just around the corner…and whether you are homeschooling or public schooling..Fall routines are going to be up and running…soon.  Boo Hoo..I hate to say goodbye to the unscheduled days of Summer and I promise I’m not trying to rush it away…

Sometimes we need to start establishing routines in order to continue them on into the busy and hectic school year!  Now is the time to start!  I know that when Fall starts that we will be full force with Sports, Band, School Activities and a Son that is graduating this year!  Whoosh it’s going to be busy.  If there is one thing though that I just refuse to let go by the wayside…that’s our Spiritual Life.

We have older kids so we hide the Word in our hearts in lots of different ways.  We use a chalkboard to memorize scripture and have fun challenges.  When our kids were younger it was much easier to have a set time for family devotions.  That’s why I love this new 90 Devotions for Kids from Adventures in Odyssey!  It is full of relevant fun activities for the kids to hide the Word in their hearts.  You can click here for a FREE download of an excerpt from 90 Devotions for Kids and check it out!

Now is the time to establish these routines…so that when Fall starts, you will already be in the habit of a devotional time.  If there is no habit then you don’t miss it so much…trust me I know!

Enter to win this awesome devotional by Adventures in Odyssey and Tyndale House!

Good Luck!

The hardest thing about devotions with my kids is getting them to sit still and listen…..also somwtimes I am Sooo tired. And also the spiritual battle which I have to fight against.

Sometimes it is just hard to do them and to stop other activities to do devotionals, my granddaughters are very good about devotionals..

So far for me it’s honestly just having me remember to do them! We definitely need to find a better routine!
