1.  One of my biggest pet peeves is when people chew with there mouths open.  Ick I just can’t stand it!

2.  I love to joke around…um tease is a better word for it.  I have to be very careful not to go overboard.  When I first got married..my husband didn’t like my over teasing.  Humph!  I should have understood because when I was growing up my Dad would tease me until I cried.  Anyway one day long ago God gave me a scripture and I was so convicted and have been very careful not to go overboard ever since.  Here’s the scripture:

Proverbs 26:19 “Like a madman shooting firebrands or deadly arrows is a man who deceives his neighbor and says, “I was only joking”

OUCH!  Lesson:   If  I’m the only one laughing..it’s probably not too funny…

I love it Shari! Thank you for letting us see a little more of you. ;-) I laughed out loud when I read number 10 — probably because I am fully aware of that fact too! Oh, and I, too, love my coffee — even though the caffeine is sometimes just too much for me and I get a sick feeling from it. Does that stop me from doing it again within a few days? Nope. Sigh.

Awww thanks Colleen! Kind of a silly post..but hey I thought it would be fun! Ugh number 10…it’s a real mystery! LOL I don’t have too much side effects from Coffee .. unless I drink WAY to much of it in one day..then I get a headache and jittery. But oh it’s so good! LOL
      Blessings to you!

It was nice learning some random facts about you :) 2 random facts everyone needs to know about me- I am a pilot and a pie dissector! By pilot I actually don’t fly in airplanes(I like to be on the ground thank you) but rather I mean pile-it. I am guilty of nesting and stacking little piles around where I sit, or on a desk or table or whatever. By a pie dissector I mean that I can’t seem to eat a piece of pie whole. I love pie so much that I have to make it last by eating it in layers and saving the crust for last. I don’t HAVE to do it all the time, but I prefer to eat my pie that way. So yeah- there are some not so desirable habits of mine that I guess you could call random facts. I will through in 1 desirable trait for good measure though. Um , whenever I do anything, I rarely half butt do it. I work hard on it and go all the way!

Hi Rebekah..so sorry I missed your comment somehow! Ha Ha I love your Pile It analogy..so cute..I’m a piler too. I kind of go in and out of phases..sometimes I’m a Pile It and sometimes..I’m a thrower awayer..my family doesn’t like the thrower away habit! LOL Yay for you for being so diligent and going all out on projects!

I want you to know that I so appreciate you sharing your life with me..You ROCK!!!

      Have a blessed day!

I also can’t stand when people chew with their mouths open. I also can’t stand to hear chewing and breathing. It actually makes me shake. If someone is chewing gum like a cow, I have to leave the area.
I LOATHE the sound of people rubbing their hands on their jeans or arms or scratching continuously. I can’t concentrate on anything until the noise is over.
I can’t even begin to explain the frenzy a barking dog sends me into.
I have panic attacks when someone rings my doorbell.
I also have panic attacks when my phone rings if I don’t know who is calling. (although I’d much rather have the phone ring than the doorbell.)
If I rip a paper towel or T.P. outside of the perforation, I can’t use it nor can I even touch it. ICK!
I gag when emptying the lint trap in my dryer.
I can not use a kleenex that is ripped.
When my husband uses a kleenex to wipe up water, it makes me sick to my stomach. I also can’t touch a paper towel once it’s wet. (We go through a lot of paper towels because of this)
Once saran wrap has been used I can’t touch it.
I have been best friends with the same person since 1978 before either of us was one year.
    I collect Mickey Mouse
I collect pianos. My collection consists mostly of pianos that my mom has given to me which is very special to me. My first and second pianos were given to me by my best friend which is what started the collection when I was in 3rd grade.
I worked at Qwest Communications for 9 years, 2 months and 1 day and hated almost every minute of it. Sept 13, 1999-November 14th 2008. I cried most of the time on my way to work. I had some friends that helped some days pass by better than other days.
I met my husband as an indirect result of my employment at Qwest.
I have 11 nieces and nephews ranging in ages 22 – 4 years. (My sister – the mother of the 22 year old – is MUCH older than me.)

Maybe that’s a bit more than a few odds and ends about me.

        Hi Shari,
No, they are not real, playable pianos. Like music boxes and things like that. I have all sorts of things. I do have a real piano in the basement. I know how to play it, but I’m not good at all. It was my parents’ piano that I was to get when they died. But, they wanted me to take it so they didn’t have to move with it.

It is pretty special that Cari and I have been friends our whole lives. We are more like sisters. We really don’t see each other that often (even though we live 2 miles from each other), but we are in constant contact. We have very little in common. She is divorced and when she goes out, she has a group of friends she goes to the bars with. I prefer to stay at home watching t.v. Her friends create a wild bunch. She does have two daughters I’m pretty involved with. And I’m pretty close with her family.
I find it really funny…and maybe a bit disturbing…that you knew it was me just by how nutty my comments sounded. HAHA! I was reading them to Dave, and he was just rolling his eyes. Because he has to live with me. Oh he loves it. He just won’t admit it :-)

That sounds like an awesome collection Mari! I have always wanted to play the piano..my Mom was a concert pianist..but her alcoholism stole all of her talent away :( I just love to listen now :) I don’t think I’d want to move a piano either..it’s nice that they gave it to you..more years to enjoy it.

I think it’s awesome that you still stay connected with your friend even though you don’t have the same lifestyle as she does. I’m sure you are an awesome witness to her..and how awesome it is that you are close to her daughters!

And as far as your nutty comments..LOL I think we are two peas in a pod .. that’s how I really knew! LOL :D

          Blessings!
